“My Fair Lady” has been nothing but “loverly” since its arrival in Cincinnati, and you still have time to enjoy the show this President’s Day weekend through Sunday with your big kids.
Broadway in Cincinnati is bringing the North American tour of Lincoln Center Theater’s Lerner & Loewe’s “My Fair Lady” to Cincinnati at the Aronoff Center for the Arts through February 20.
The musical’s 1956 Broadway production won the Tony for Best Musical and at the time, and set a record for longest-running musical. This charming story of a Cockney flower girl who is transformed by a professor into a lady includes song treasures like, “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “The Rain in Spain,” and “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly?” – but who is really being transformed? Only one way to find out.
Note: While “My Fair Lady” is a musical for all ages, it runs nearly three hours long and may be difficult for young children to sit through and is recommended for ages 8 and older.
