The Syrian Shrine Circus is a one of a kind event. There are acts of all sorts and not a dull moment goes by! The circus starts off with the National Anthem and a warm welcome from the Ringmaster. Some of the exciting acts include Bengal Tigers and an impressive routine where they all lay down and get up on high platforms. The Air Trio from Russia impresses audiences of all ages with their spinning stunts on a moving octagon. If you think you have seen it all, Tommy Tequila juggles pins, hats, and even balls from his mouth! The first half also featured magicians that could change colorful outfits within seconds and there were magnificent horses too.
The intermission was anything but boring with different activities such as face painting, camel and pony rides, and transformer pictures. Two kids even won a bike! Don’t forget refreshments of all sorts like pretzels and cotton candy. There are also souvenirs galore, including lots of light sticks and swords. It was also fun to watch the stage hands set up for the second act.
The second act opened with an America’s Got Talent couple who performed daring acts on the tight rope, including sitting in a chair and standing on each other’s shoulders! The trapeze artists did triple somersaults and had the whole crowd cheering. The clowns had everyone doing the YMCA and chicken dance, and Spider-Man hung upside down and moved ring to ring with his feet! What circus is complete without elephants? Well, they have those too. The final act was Motorcycle Mania and then a farewell parade.
What a show! Hurry and get your tickets for the remainder of the weekend and support a good cause!
