My family has visited EnterTRAINment Junction many, many times in the past, so my boys know the layout quite well. They love every single inch of tracks laid out in the scale train displays (the themed scavenger hunts are a huge hit for them), they adore pressing buttons within the interactive displays, and they wear themselves tired running through the ginormous play place! We are no strangers to the fun that the Train Journey has to offer, and we always love coming back to see our favorite attractions but also to see what details have changed. A visit to EnterTRAINment Junction’s Train Journey could last all day, because there is simply SO much to take in. During a recent visit, my high school friend and our kid crews spent tons of time enjoying the trains. We walked through the train displays, played at Imagination Junction for about half an hour, and even had the opportunity to ride Thomas (we went during the Thomas event, but the trains will be open once again starting on Memorial Day!).
After enjoying the trains, my friend mentioned heading to the Funhouse. I thought I knew my kids, I thought they weren’t big fans of the A-maze-n Funhouse! But boy, was I wrong. I can’t think of a time I was more wrong in regards to my kids. I skeptically told my friend that my older son hadn’t done so well with the funhouse in years past, but I would definitely give it another whirl. After all, my kids have never liked any vegetables during the first offering either, but try, try, try and you shall succeed. So onward we went to the funhouse. For the next hour-and-a-half, I heard nothing but happy squeals and giggling from all of the kids AND the adults playing in the funhouse. We worked our way through the curtain chaos maze and broke out in belly laughs when we looked at our warped appearances in the circus mirrors. The kids spent a lot of time dancing with the clowns and trying to find their balance in the tilted room of the Clown College. We found our way through the Mirror Maze, and Outer Limits got us feeling spacey. It was wonderful to see my kids try something again and for it to be the highlight of our outing!
Now I am even more excited about our next visit to EnterTRAINment Junction! The boys have been asking to go back with their friends to see the trains and clowns, so our next visit may be just around the corner. If your kiddos — or anyone of any age really — love locomotions, you HAVE to check out EnterTrainment Junction. The thoughtful stories that the train miniatures tell will transport you to a whole new little world!
