Gazing down at trains,
Towering over cities,
I am a giant!
My family has been to EnterTRAINment Junction several times. Each time we visit this attraction, we make a new discovery!
EnterTRAINment Junction boasts the world’s largest train display. Spanning from the invention of steam engines to modern and even futuristic trains, each display has something unique to offer. The train town miniatures are truly mesmerizing for ALL ages! The youngest guests will enjoy watching trains whir by, and they will love pressing interactive buttons. Older guests can appreciate the attention to detail in every aspect of the displays.
The exhibits are constantly being updated by a dedicated staff and volunteers, so there is something new to see each and every time you visit. They do a great job of telling stories through the miniatures! My older son was sad to see the lurking zombie had moved on from the camp site, but the randomly placed dinosaurs more than made up for it. The current scavenger hunt within the miniature town includes seven hidden Toy Story characters. My sons absolutely loved seeking out Buzz, Woody and friends!
The other highlight from our recent visit included playing at Imagination Junction. This is a 5,000 square foot locomotive themed paradise. Children can explore a huge indoor playground (Mom tip: make sure you have socks if your little ones want to explore the playground), become engineers at one of the many train tables, shovel coal in an engine car, and much more! There are even two train themed rides that children can enjoy.
Also housed within EnterTRAINment Junction are The American Railroading Museum and the A-maze-n Funhouse. The museum provides an opportunity to learn more about the history and impact of trains on the U.S. After seeing train miniatures, it is interesting to see life-size train parts on display in the museum. The A-maze-n Funhouse includes Big Top themed attractions like the clown college and mirror maze. They have to go to through a lot of glass cleaner — that maze can be tricky (Mom tip: walk with your hands in front of you so you don’t walk straight into a wall. Ow!).
Come prepared to spend a full day at EnterTRAINment Junction, as there is so much to see and do. They have a very reasonably priced cafe if you work up an appetite, and a great train gift store so you can create a train depot of your own at home.
Overall, if you have a little engineer, EnterTRAINment Junction is the place to be! And a final mom tip: head over to Groupon.com and purchase your tickets beforehand to save big! EnterTRAINment Junction is located at 7379 Squire Ct., West Chester. Call 513-898-8000 or visit entertrainmentjunction.com.
