Let Sunshine in, Drive Hunger Out Campaign

Want to know how you can make a difference this holiday season? On Thursday, November 15, Cincinnati residents can help change lives by simply purchasing DOLE Canned Pineapple at local participating Kroger stores. How? Through DOLE’s Let Sunshine In, Drive Hunger Out Campaign.

Each can you buy will provide one can to a local food bank. The campaign is part of DOLE’s continued commitment to hunger relief, donating 1.5 million pounds of healthy food each year to support families in need.

DOLE Packaged Foods, LLC and The Kroger Co. teamed up with musician Phillip Phillips because they all had a similar vision – helping feed families in their neighborhood. By providing a buy one, get one campaign, they can all help not only local community food banks, but national ones as well. It’s a way to spread light throughout the winter for families who need it the most.
