Check out the community gardens at Valley View (5330 S. Milford Road, Milford). Families are invited to purchase a plot of land for $100 – $150 (sharing with another family is encouraged), on which they can plant, grow and harvest their own produce and get their kids in the garden. All you need are a few hours each week to maintain your garden and enjoy fresh produce year-round!
