This free event welcomes veterans and their families as the public. Festivities will center around the Pavilion Grove Shelter from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Families can join guided hikes along the Gorge Trail and paved trail, and learn how to throw a spear with an atlatl, or spear-throwing tool, too! Be sure to cozy around the fire and build some tasty s’mores – all of the fixins will be available for everyone, plus light refreshments and lawn games.
