Cincinnati Children’s Cancels Some Feb. 3 Services

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center will close all in-person outpatient services at noon Thursday, Feb. 3, because of an incoming winter storm.

If you’re wondering what will happen to your doctor appointment with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center today, the answer is, it will unfortunately need to be either rescheduled or moved to telehealth video visits due to the dangerous wintry weather.

The in-person outpatient cancelations include all sites and locations across the Cincinnati Children’s system, including the main hospital on Burnet Avenue in Avondale and the Liberty Campus in Butler County.

This includes lab and radiology services which will close at 12 p.m. at Cincinnati Children’s neighborhood locations.

Also because of the weather, Cincinnati Children’s Urgent Care locations in Anderson Township, Green Township and Mason will be closed all day. So if you do have an emergency where do you go? The Emergency Departments at the Burnet Campus and the Liberty Campus will remain open around the clock for your emergency needs, and the Urgent Cares at both hospitals will have normal hours as well.

** Note: These changes do not impact your telehealth visits and these will continue as scheduled including all Thursday morning clinics and in-person outpatient services.
