Camp in Your Own Backyard!
Spend a night under the stars during this year’s Great American Backyard Campout on Saturday, June 28. Families from around the country are invited to join this initiative from the National Wildlife Federation (NWF). Just grab your sleeping bags and tents and head out your back door to explore and connect with nature.
Make the pledge to camp out at nwf.org/Great-American-Backyard-Campout, where you can also donate to NWF and get camping tips, campfire songs and stories and more fun ideas for your big adventure.
Or, trek over to Lake Isabella (10174 Loveland-Madeira Road) on Friday, June 20 for a night under the stars — enjoy family programs, a screening of Frozen, and a chance to unplug from technology. RSVP at greatparks.org.
