Summer means free cinema at the Esquire (320 Ludlow Ave.) and Mariemont Theatres (6906 Wooster Pike)!  Check out the last free summer movie on August 2: Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation 10:30 a.m.


Thursday, August 3rd

Happy Birthday, Fritz! Families can head to the zoo to celebrate with birthday cake (12 pm @ the picnic shelters, while supplies last), watermelon carving, a book signing by Richard Cowdry (11 a.m. – 1 p.m. @ Vine Street Village), hippo treats at 2:30 p.m. and so much more!  Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, 3400 Vine St., Cincinnati; 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.; included with daily admission, buy online for savings; free for members; 513-281-4700 


Friday, August 4th

Saturday August 5th

Kick off the 23 – 24 school year at the second annual CPS Back-to-School Festival!  Families can connect with booths from over 40 Cincinnati Public Schools and departments, pick up free school supplies and resources from a host of community partners and get moving in the CPS Athletic Village. Children’s Hospital, Walgreens and other medical providers will be onsite to offer medical, dental and vision screenings for students.  Washington Park, 1230 Elm St., Cincinnati; 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Summer is for the dogs at Pyramid Hill! Families can bring their furry friends to the park for lots of fun while exploring over 300 acres. Sunday, August 6th 

Claude Monet: The Immersive Experience
Families will feel transported into Monet’s world-renowned works of art, immersed into the artists Impressionist style and brushstrokes! This exhibit features over 7,000 square feet of awe-inspiring art, a 360 degree digital experience and is a must-see for art lovers.  18 West Fourth St., Cincinnati; 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; $37.90 adult, $21.90 children; 

Florence Y’alls Family Sunday
It is Sunday Funday at the Y’alls Ballpark!
