Top Earth Day Events in Cincinnati!

Families can get in touch with nature this weekend at a fun Earth Day celebration event.

Wednesday, April 19th 

BUTTERFLIES OF THE MEADOW 
Krohn’s floral show features butterflies like the majestic monarch.  Krohn Conservatory, 1501 Eden Park Drive, Cincinnati; 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; $10 adults, $7 youth (5 – 17 years old), free for children under four; 513-421-4086 

HOMESCHOOL SCIENCE: PLANTS AND PETALS (register) 
Spring has sprung! Get outside and check out all the wildflowers and trees. It’s a special time for regrowth and fresh starts. Come out and play a game, take a hike and make a craft! FREE TUNES AND BLOOMS AT THE ZOO
Explore the sights and sounds of spring at the zoo every Thursday evening in April! FREE HAILE PLANETARIUM FREE FRIDAY SHOW 
Take a tour of the night sky and enjoy a show on the full dome.  This is a free, open event to the public; however, it is recommended that families reserve seats online.  Haile Planetarium , Highland Heights; 7:00 p.m.; 859-572-5309 

 

Saturday, April 22nd 

ART AND EARTH DAY 
Celebrate Arbor Day, Earth Day and International Sculpture Day with a fun day at Pyramid Hill. There will be workshops, kid’s activities, guided tours, hikes, yoga, a foodtruck and more! Pyramid Hill, 1763 Hamilton Cleves Road, Hamilton; 10:00 a.m.; 513-868-8336 

FREE CINCINNATI EARTH DAY AT SUMMIT PARK 
Celebrate Earth Day with over 100 exhibitors, live music, vegetarian food options and environmental education sessions. Kids will love the inflatables, games, crafts and animals! Summit Park, 4335 Glendale Milford Road, Blue Ash; 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

EARTH DAY WEEKEND: ARTISTS & MAKERS MARKET Celebrate Earth Day by visiting a market featuring artists who creatively recycle, reuse and upcycle unique works!  Cincinnati Nature Center , 4949 Tealtown Road, Milford; 10:00 a.m.; included with daily admission, free for members; 513-421-4111

FREE PROTECT YOUR WILD: EARTH DAY CELEBRATION 
Celebrate our wild planet with a day of volunteering, eco-education and family-friendly fun. FREE SPRINGTIME IN THE VILLAGE

FREE GIVE BACK FOR EARTH DAY
