Day Trip Idea: Wool Festival brings unique fun to Falmouth, Ky!

Baa! Head down to Falmouth this weekend for some sheep-fun with the family.

Families can head down to Falmouth, Ky this weekend (October 1 – 3, 2021) for a family-friendly fun time at the Kentucky Wool Festival.

Never been? 

This one-of-a-kind festival celebrates all things sheep! The goals of the festival include “promoting sheep, wool products and the local community”. This goal has been carried out for 35+ years with people flocking back every year for festival fun including:

  • great vendor booths selling hand-crafted items,
  • educational demonstrations,
  • magnificent music,
  • tasty treats (kettle corn, funnel cakes, barbeque, chicken and dumplins, country ham and so much more!)  
  • and adorable animals! 

Kentucky Wool Festival is located at:

48 Concord Caddo Road in Falmouth, Ky 

 

2021 Kentucky Wool Festival times:

Friday and Saturday, October 1 -2: 10 a.m.- 10 p.m.

Sunday, October 3: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

 

Admission is only $5 per person and children under five are free!
