Homeschool Discovery Days: Sap to Syrup

Homeschoolers can explore the maple syrup–making process with a guided tour of the sugarbush, hands-on learning, and syrup samples during this outdoor nature program; ages 5–13.Â

Friday Family Fun: Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Bring your stuffed animal from home and wear your pajamas for some library fun! You’ll enjoy a story time together and complete a craft. Then say goodbye to your stuffed animal for the night so they can sleep at the library, then pick them up the next day!

This after-hours, open-house event is for families with special needs. Explore various stations with crafts, games, and more. Music from the May Festival MiNiS and Tales to Tails reading dogs when available.

History HikesÂ

At Great Parks’ oldest destination, take a history-driven hike to learn about the park’s greatest tales, features and people. Discover what once was, how things came to be and where we’re headed. For ages 14+.
