Mom Report: Holiday Lights on the Hill

Pyramid Hill is a hidden treasure off of 128 in Hamilton, Ohio, and houses various art sculptures and statues. In addition to being an outside museum, Pyramid hosts different events throughout the year including Holiday Lights on the Hill, featuring a huge drive-thru light display during the holiday season!

As you enter, you drive through lighted arches that make you feel like you are driving into another dimension. Every square inch is covered with lights! Lights were wrapped around trees, and there was every color you could imagine. As we drove through, it was the perfect opportunity to practiced our colors; we all said our favorite ones – a great toddler activity! In addition to all of the lights, there were familiar characters throughout including Mickey Mouse and Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage. There were carolers in front of a church, ice skaters, a traditional nativity scene, soldiers and a dove. The kids also liked seeing the waving Santa. The light display looped so we got to see everything twice.

Pyramid Hill was very enjoyable and the perfect length to keep everyone’s attention. There were no lines when we went after dinnertime around 8 o’clock. While we were at it, we drove through downtown Hamilton and enjoyed their lights, too! Add Holiday Lights on the Hill to your family traditions this year!

Pyramid Hill is located at 1763 Hamilton Cleves Road. The light display runs now through January 1, Monday through Thursday from 6 – 9 p.m.; Friday – Sunday 6 – 10 p.m. Admission for one carload costs $20 Monday – Thursday; $25 Friday – Sunday.
