MidPointe Library has tons of story time opportunities and other engaging activities for all ages – some require registration, some do not. They have a sensory space, too! 

Family Story Time

Liberty – Thursdays and Fridays, 10:30 a.m.

Beaks and Talons presented by Raptor Inc.

Join in for a presentation featuring three live avian ambassadors. Learn about the adaptations which make birds of prey supreme hunters of the sky.

Shakespurr’s Sensory Space

Visit Southwest Ohio’s first free and open to the public sensory space! All ages and abilities are welcome to join in for weekly drop-in sessions. This will be a safe space to learn and explore, with added therapeutic benefits.

CAC Homeschool Wednesdays, ages 6 – 12 years old (Register)

Cheviot Branch (register): Wednesday, February 12, 12 -1 p.m.  Join the Contemporary Arts Center for a special workshop designed specifically for homeschool families. Stop by the library to participate in hands-on art making, learn about contemporary artists and take home an extended learning sheet with tips and resources for building on what you’ve discovered. 

New Leaf Kitchen Cooking Class for Teens, ages 11 – 18 (Register)

Clifton Branch: Wednesday, February 12, 4 – 5:30 p.m. Join New Leaf Kitchen for a hands-on cooking demonstration.  Learn how to make a healthy, delicious treat!

Cards and Letters to our Troops

Greenhills Branch: Monday, February 17, 3 – 5 p.m. As part of Random Acts of Kindness Week beginning Feb. 17, visit the Greenhills Branch Library each day between 3 and 5 p.m. to make a card or letter for deployed soldiers overseas. They accept completed cards or letters at any time during the week, too; the non-profit group Hugs for Soldiers is facilitating: hugsforsoldiers.org/cards-and-letters. Keep messages upbeat and positive; do not include date; pictures and stories encouraged!
