
POLLINATOR PALOOZA FUNESTIVAL
Description
Come celebrate pollinators and all the benefits they bring to our world.
Enjoy live animal encounters by Hueston Woods Nature Center, talk with local experts on pollinators, native plants and nature conservation at multiple educational booths, take a tour of the pollinator meadow, practice fishing and archery skills, venture on a scavenger hunt, make a craft and release some energy in festival games and a bouncy house.
A free meal is provided for attendees along with a swag bag filled with wildflower seed packets and other items to help make local backyards pollinator friendly.
Most activities are held outdoors; rain or shine!
Funding for this event is provided by the Seven Mile Chapter and Ohio Division of the Izaak Walton League of America. IWLA is a non-profit conservation organization that provides outdoor recreation and nature education opportunities while encouraging sustainable use of natural resources.
