West Chester Cooperative Nursery School

West Chester Cooperative Nursery School (WCCNS) was created by a group of area parents in 1969. WCCNS continues its parent-run tradition while also relying on the expertise of three remarkable and experienced preschool teachers. The teachers create and implement lesson plans for the classroom. All other roles in the preschool are fulfilled by a variety of parent-run committees. Having parents participate in the classroom activities, school maintenance, fundraising, housekeeping, policy making, special event planning, and other functions keeps West Chester Cooperative Nursery School‘s tuition low and standards high.
