Originally opened in 2001, Newport on the Levee (the Levee) is a multi-level mixed-use destination nestled within an 11-mile pedestrian trail along Northern Kentucky’s riverfront. North American Properties (NAP) purchased the Levee in December 2018 and launched a redevelopment project to transform the dated property into a family friendly entertainment destination, with major construction efforts culminating in May 2021. Now, the Levee’s enhanced guest experience offers visitors the opportunity to spend a full day soaking up everything from shopping to dining to gaming and more, all while enjoying spectacular views of the Ohio River and Downtown Cincinnati. The possibilities for families to maximize their time on the Levee are endless. As part of its Signature Event series hosted April through October, children and parents can enjoy Kids Crew, a weekly playdate featuring rotating educational activities, as well as monthly Movie Nights in The Gallery. In total, the Levee hosts over 100 complimentary events annually, each of which are designed for guests of all ages. Aside from the ongoing programming, families can explore the Newport Aquarium, Rotolo Bowling, Velocity Esports and a variety of dining options, including the ever-popular Coldstone Creamery.
Onsite parking is open daily and free for the first hour, with rates increasing to $5 for up to five hours and $10 for up to 24 hours. Valet parking is also available Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and can be accessed via the 3rd Street entrance.
