Early Cincinnati Camp, Ages 6-12: Learn what life was like for kids in 1800s Southwest Ohio. Campers will visit our thirteen historical buildings to discover different aspects of  life such as cooking, chores, medicine, surveying, and transportation. Hands-on activities, crafts and games will make this a fun learning experience!

Archaeology Camp, Ages 6-12: Do you have a burgeoning Indiana Jones? Come learn the basics of archaeology, and learn through doing. Our location in the park is at the bottom of an old Ordovician Sea, and fossils abound here. Activities include doing a dig, learning about artifacts and interpretation, and learning about terminology and
application.

Immersive History Camp, Ages 13-15: Campers will be immersed in 19th Century life. Each day will bring new theme and a new challenge for campers. Each theme and activity is tied to everyday life of an early 19th Century Cincinnatian. Many details in our daily life get taken for granted. Things such as getting water could be fraught with difficulty and danger. Adequate food was never a guarantee. Personal and family safety was as well. Learning to exist in early Cincinnati was quite literally a matter of life and death. Campers will be immersed in learning the skills of our pioneer forefathers and mothers. Historical events of the period will be addressed as well. Campers will meet soldiers, traders, and the common people that carved out an existence in Southwest Ohio.

Pre-registration required. Upon receiving registration, a camp confirmation packet will be sent with additional information and health forms.
