What is the camp’s mission and philosophy?

At Snapology, we strive to make hands-on STEAM learning fun while developing hands-on building, social, teamwork and public speaking skills in school age children.

What safety measures are in place?

All Camp instructors are experienced working with children & many are full time teachers.  Staff follow check-in/out & other safety protocols when children are outside of a classroom.

What is the camper-to-counselor ratio?

1:12 or less for school age

How are staff members screened and trained?

Staff members are Federal & State BCI (fingerprint) background checked, undergo safety and abuse prevention training, and Snapology program specific training.

Is there a daily schedule, and can you provide an example?

Each half day camp (AM or PM) is 3 hours and is comprised of 2 to 4 building activities and games that are 20 minutes to 1 hour each.

Are there opportunities for free play or downtime?

WEB Camps include 1 hour of WEB activities per each half day camp.  15 to 20 minute breaks are incorporated in non WEB Camps.

How does the camp handle health issues and allergies?

Campers are requested to bring nut free snacks/lunches.  Specific health issues and allergies are managed based on parental guidance.

Are there opportunities for parents to visit or participate in camp activities?

For some camps parents are invited to see a presentation on the final day (camper amusement park or final stop motion movies).  Parents can come early for pickup.
