For families looking to balance summer fun with hands-on learning, Great Parks’ 2026 Day Camps offer kids ages 3-18 opportunities to unplug, explore and grow in the great outdoors. Designed to spark curiosity and build confidence these camps connect young explorers with nature through unique experiences tailored to each age group.

Camps are offered at five Great Parks destinations across Hamilton County – Lake Isabella,
Miami Whitewater Forest,
Sharon Woods,
Winton Woods, and
Woodland Mound
-giving campers access to forests, lakes, farmland, and trails that become living classrooms. Whether paddling across the water, caring for farm animals or discovering hidden wonders in the woods, there’s a camp to match each child’s interests.

Offerings range from adventure camps focusing on paddling, climbing and survival skills to farm camps where campers learn how food is grown and animals are cared for. Nature camps blend science, history, art and outdoor play, while fishing camps help young anglers progress from first casts to on-the-water excursions. Horse Camps at Winton Woods Farm & Equestrian Center build confidence both in and out of the saddle, welcoming beginners to advanced riders.

Great Parks also works to make camps accessible for more families. Before and after care options are available for select Operation Outdoors camps at Miami Whitewater Forest, helping working parents manage busy schedules. Additionally, the Great Parks Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to qualifying families, helping reduce the cost of camp for children throughout the region. More scholarship information is available at GreatParks.org/day-camps.

Registration for all 2026 Day Camps is now open, and camps fill quickly. With supportive staff, safe environments and unforgettable outdoor experiences, Great Parks’ camps provide space to explore, learn and create meaningful connections with nature.
