What is the camp’s mission and philosophy?

We encourage creativity through awesome stories and believe theatre can be created by anyone at any age. Campers have fun and learn skills that emerge onstage and in real life.

What is the camper-to-counselor ratio?

Group sizes vary depending on location, camp type and ages of campers. Our groups are typically at a maximum of 16 -18.

How are staff members screened and trained?

Our instructors are experienced teaching artists who are also working artists in their field. All have degrees in the arts and/or requisite professional experience and a strong focus on education.

Is there a daily schedule, and can you provide an example?

All camps run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are typically two classes in the morning and three classes in the afternoon, separated by a lunch period.

Are there opportunities for parents to visit or participate in camp activities?

Families can attend the shareformance (one-week camps) or performance (Performance Academies) on the final day of camp.

What Types of Camps are Offered?

With camps focusing on Wicked, Moana, Hadestown, The Descendants and more, we offer fun performance opportunities in one-week theatre camps and showcases and multi-week performance academies for first- through 12th-graders.

Is there Before and After Care?

Before Care and After Care are available at all three summer camp locations (Playhouse in Mt. Adams, Erlanger, and Mason) and can be purchased with camp registration.

Are There Discounts Available?

An Early Bird discount is available through February 28 for the Playhouse and Erlanger locations only. We also offer need-based scholarships, and the application will be available beginning March 17.
