What is the school’s mission and philosophy? Our mission is, “Equipping the Next Generation to Impact the World for Christ.” CCS offers a biblically integrated education to students in preschool through 12th grade. CCS holds accreditation from Association of Christian Schools International, Cognia and the KY Non-Public Commission.

How does the school differentiate itself from other private schools in the area? Calvary Christian School has provided a Christ-centered education for over 50 years. We offer a biblically-integrated curriculum and various athletic/extracurricular opportunities.

What are the core values that guide the school community? Each student will grow academically, physically, spiritually and socially to be prepared to accomplish their God-given mission. “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.” Luke 2:52

Are there advanced placement, honors programs, or dual enrollment classes available? CCS offers a wide range of AP and dual credit opportunities as well as an honors program.

What extracurricular activities and clubs are available? Elementary Intramural Sports, National Honor Society, Beta Club, Middle School Student Council, High School Student Council, 6th Grade Cougar Council, Academic Teams, 37 School-Wide Athletic Teams, Performing Arts, Band and Musicals.

How does the school foster a sense of community among students? CCS focuses on both spiritual and academic development. This involves a Christ-centered environment, service learning and outreach, mentorship programs and extracurricular activities.

How can parents get involved in the school community? CCS actively engages parents in school events and volunteer opportunities. Opportunities include: P.T.C.A, Moms in Prayer Group, Dads’ Club, Room Parents, etc.
