The Cincinnati Neighborhood Games are coming to town in July, but there is plenty happening beforehand, including qualifying events in your neighborhood!

What are the Neighborhood Games?  It’s a chance for 52 of Cincinnati’s neighborhoods to compete in fun and friendly games like a 40-yard dash, a hula hoop endurance contest, chess and more.  It’s designed to build community engagement and teamwork, but it doesn’t hurt that bragging rights and medal ceremonies are involved.

Qualifying rounds will be held in individual neighborhoods beginning May 26.  Qualifiers will then head Downtown/OTR for the friendly competition in July, that is complete with a Parade of Neighborhoods showcasing their neighborhood flag.

A torch bike relay is in the works as well, so be sure to head to cincygames.com to find out how you and your family can get involved in this fun summer event!
