Chinese New Year 2025: the year of the SNAKE!
Happy Chinese New Year! This 16-day celebration starts on January 29th, 2025. Families can celebrate this exciting holiday by enjoying meals together, setting off firecrackers and fireworks, eating sweet dumplings, giving red envelopes with lucky money to kiddos and more.

Lunar New Year
Saturday, January 25th at 2-3 p.m. @ Madeira Branch Library
Explore the Year of the Snake with crafts and activities. Presented by the Alliance of Chinese Culture and Arts. Designed for ages 12 and under.

2025 Chinese New Year Paint and Sip!
Wednesday, January 29th from 7-9 p.m. @ Pinot’s Palette
Grown-ups can sip a handcrafted cocktail or cocktail and create a gorgeous Chinese New Year-themed snake painting.

Lunar Near Year Celebration
Saturday, February 1st from 12-7 p.m. @ The Gatherall Food Hall at Factory 52
Families can enjoy cultural performances from the Ohio Wushu Academy, origami making, coloring stations, story times and more. Those who purchase items in The Gatherall can participate in the “Red Envelope Giveaways” and may win prizes.
Free to attend. Food from 15 mouthwatering food vendors available for purchase.
