Cheetah 5K Returns
After a six-year hiatus, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s fan-favorite race, the Cheetah Run 5K, is back! Special events manager Sydney Boudreaux notes, “This is clearly an event that people want… and we’re not just bringing it back, we’re making it even better!” The 3.1 mile run will start at 8 a.m. on March 22nd and will weave in and out of the Zoo, past cheetahs, lions, giraffes, bears, otters, zebras, and more! Along with the 5K race, there will also be a Cub Run for kids 12 and under. Of course, runners are welcomed to celebrate at the zoo after their races; both the Cheetah Run 5K ($49.95 total) and Cub Run ($13.75 total) registration include race day admission for Sunday, March 22nd.
