Stop by the CAC’s Creativity Center for an earth-friendly festival filled with interactive art-making and some flower power planting.

Families can build their very own floating cloud fascinator and begin a starter garden to take home, too! Join Artist Jeni Jenkins as she will be on-hand to guide families in nature cyanotype printing, and artist, Batres Gilvin, will be there creating quilt squares with seeds and edible items to feed wildlife. Plus, listend in on an artist talk at 12 p.m. with Julia Lipovsky and Karen Saunders.

The Creativity Center is the newly renovated sixth floor of the Contemporary Arts Center. Dedicated to hands-on creative discovery, it is an expansion of the well-loved Sara M. and Patricia A. Vance Education Center—The UnMuseum. The space features ten installations by local artists that encourages families to touch, play, create and have fun with art.

Admission is always free, and the Creativity Center is open during all regular CAC gallery hours. Learn more at contemporaryartscenter.org.
