On September 28, from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., Art Off Pike will celebrate ten years of bringing art to the public.  Located on 7th Street in Covington, between Washington and Madison Streets, the festival features the works of more than 50 talented artists, as well as artistic demonstrations and live performances designed for the entire family.

At 11 a.m., the Baker Hunt Art & Cultural Center will bring the sidewalk to life with a chalk mural painting.  Families can get the scoop on their fall classes and workshops as well.  At 12 p.m., artist Curtis Davis from Visionaries and Voices will demonstrate his painting techniques, and then the crowd is invited to create their own “Wonderful Flowers.”  And at 2:30 p.m., Visionaries and Voices artist Tammy Smith will lead participants through an art and architecture workshop.  Performances from the likes of Bi-Okoto, Elementz Dance, and the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra are all on the schedule as well, so be sure to visit artoffpike.org for complete details.
