The Betts House is bringing back their popular exhibit, A Day in the Life: As the Betts Family Lived in the Mid-19th Century, complete with new materials and programs to give visitors an idea on what life was like for the Betts family during the 1850s. Families are invited to the opening reception on April 1 from 1 – 4 p.m. for light refreshments and a look at the exhibit, then throughout the month of April, special demonstrations are planned, including a spinning demon on April 8, a bread-making demo on April 15, a walking tour of the Betts-Longworth Historic District on April 22, and story time on April 29 (all activities begin at 1 p.m.). Head to the Betts House at 416 Clark Street, two blocks west of Music Hall.
