NEW! WinterHaus Grand Opening
Fountain Square has a new happening holiday attraction for families to enjoy together. The memory making will take place at the brand new WinterHaus, which will have grand opening festivities this weekend, November 15 and 16. Winterhaus is a 65 ft x 65 ft tented retreat located at Fountain Square, with a full bar and tons of fun events scheduled for the winter of 2025. If you are worried about, “Where did the Ice Rink go?!” Well, worry no more. It just hopped over a few blocks to the Elm Street Plaza and will open for business on November 21. Learn more here.
Saturday, November 15th
7–11 a.m. | The Duke Energy Holiday Tree arrives to Fountain Square
Watch as O’Rourke Wrecking Company hoists this year’s tree into place & tops it with a locally made star.
9–11 a.m. | Tree Trimming Party inside of Winterhaus
Participate in a free ornament making craft with Not Your Average Paint & Sip, decorate cookies, and get a first glance at Winterhaus.
11 a.m.–4 p.m. | Afternoon Piano at Winterhaus
Enjoy some winter tunes by Meg Kecskes as you explore the cozy vibe of Winterhaus! The bar will be open serving hot chocolate, Coca Cola products and alcoholic beverages. Outside of Winterhaus, Rock on Ice will be creating ice sculptures.
6-10 p.m. | Winterhaus Grand Opening Party presented by Visit Cincy
Celebrate the Grand Opening of Winterhaus with the community, create a keepsake ornament, enjoy live music by Ben Levin and photo ops on the Square and in Winterhaus.
7 p.m. | CVG Fountain of Lights debuts for the first time
See this beautiful new installation lit for the first time. Installation will be viewable 7 days a week.

Start your Sunday on the right foot with a relaxing Sound Bath inside of Winterhaus.
