Grand Carnivale at Kings Island

International Street at Kings Island is ramping up to really live up to it’s name! The festive celebration of international culture, Grand Carnivale, will be returning to the brick paved streets of Kings Island starting on Saturday, July 19th. So what can attendees expect during this exciting event?

Exciting Entertainment
From the Royal Opening Ceremony to the Spectacle of Color Paradeto the grand finale of each evening—the Royal Send-Off with fireworks and aerial drones— this event is FULL of fun and va va voom! There will be a flood of colors, feisty floats, music, dancing and tons of electric energy.

Flavors from Around the World
Taste the influence of five different countries during Grand Carnivale at Kings Island!

Some of the flavorful fare includes Mongolian Beef Fried Rice and Bang Bang Chicken from China; Apricot Baked Brie from France; Pretzel Bites and Chicken Schnitzel Sliders from Germany; Italian Sausage Hoagie from Italy; and Paella from Spain. These festival tastes can be purchased a la carte at each location.

Grand Carnivale’s variety of beverages include the event’s signature drink, the Carnivale Cocktail with its tropical flavors combined with spiced and white rum; the Melon Mixer, a vibrant mix of melon liqueur, zesty citrus and a hint of sweetness; and the Raspberry Beret, a frozen drink with hints of lemon and lime combined with Chambord raspberry liqueur. Non-alcoholic mocktails are also available.

Cultural Crafty Creations
Families can learn all about various cultures while decorating their own dazzling crowns, masks and noise makers at Carnivale Crafts!

Investigate Internationally
Passport to Adventure, available at Carnivale Central, encourages guests to collect QR codes throughout the park at various countries. Scanning the code will teach lessons about history, culture and more. It will also earn the scanner a special stamp—collect all of the stamps to receive a prize!
