Family Fun on the Hill: Experiencing Senses in Nature

Monthly immersive experiences for families to explore the natural world through their five senses. These events are included in general park admission and run from 10 AM to 2 PM on the second Saturday of each month.

  • June 14: Touch and Feel of Wildlife and the Annual Wilks Insurance Fishing Derby
  • July 12: Sounds of Beauty and Wonder featuring the Cincinnati Opera andPercussionist Stan Ginn
  • August 9: Water in Motion with Kinetic Kristen & Watercolor PlaySummer Series of Art: Recycled MasterpiecesJoin in on the last Friday of June and July to create wonderful art projects from upcycled materials at drop-in artmaking sessions. Each session is led by a different local artist to create a unique experience during each visit.
  • June 27: Creative Cardboard Sculptures with Leah Hughes
  • July 25: Mobiles in Motion with artists Stephen & EmilyDogs & DonutsBring your furry-family for an adventure in art and nature, and enjoy a special treat too! The first Saturday of the month this summer is dedicated to Dogs & Donuts at Pyramid Hill with a special activity for dog lovers, plus who doesn’t love free donuts.
  • July 5: Illustrating Dogs with the Robert McCloskey Wonder Works Museum
  • August 2: Natural Nibbles & Holistic Health with Dr. JoAnne Goodman, DVM
  • September 6: Pressed Paw Prints in Air-Dry Clay

Park Hours and Ammenities

Pyramid Hill is open for extended summer hours through August 31, 2025:

Monday to Thursday: 9AM – 5PM, closed on Tuesdays
Friday to Sunday: 9AM – 8PM
Stop by for a picnic dinner, sunset stroll, or wildlife watching.

Memberships start at just $55/year for your entire household! If free general admission, free or discounted admission to signature events (Art Fair in September, Pyramid Hill Lights in November), discounts on Art Cart rentals, plus additional benefits sound interesting to you, a membership is the way to go! Generally, the cost of a membership pays for itself after just two visits.
