New Sensory Experience Coming to Taft Museum of Art
Each month, the Taft Museum of Art welcomes patrons to experience art in a new way! Sensory Explorations takes place every second Sunday from 1 – 3 p.m. and families can utilize their senses of touch and hearing throughout the galleries, guided by museum educators. There will be 3-D printed reproductions of artworks, fabric samples–and new this year–adding in live sensory-friendly concerts to the fun during select events. During the January 12th event, Peanut Butter & Jam will be performing, making the event even more of a sensory showcase! Be sure to follow along on social media to see event announcements for future live concert dates. Sensory Explorations is free for families to enjoy and has been specially developed for visitors with low or no vision. All guests are invited to participate!
