Graeter’s Ice Cream and the Flying Pig Marathon are celebrating with a tasty new flavor to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Cincinnati’s favorite race weekend beginning Friday, April 28.
In honor of Cincinnati’s annual marathon event, Graeter’s is releasing the new Flying Pig Tracks flavor for a limited “run” in all scoop shops across Greater Cincinnati followed by select Kroger, Jungle Jim’s and Dorothy Lane stores in the Cincinnati and Dayton areas and online at graeters.com.
This flavor will have you tying up your shoelaces and running to the nearest Greater’s shop. It’s packed with peanut butter cups and chocolate fudge packaged into an illustrated pint also available for online ordering across the country at graeters.com.
In addition, families can purchase a one-of-its-kind “Flying Pig” ice cream bowl from Cincinnati’s own Rookwood Pottery! The bowl is the fifth in Graeter’s series of collectible Rookwood bowls. This unique bowl has a stamp commemorating the Pig’s 25th anniversary, and is available in limited quantities; available for $59.95 at the marathon registration event on Friday, May 5.
The Flying Pig Marathon, one of the largest and most popular marathons in the United States, is organized by Pig Works, a non-profit organization that hosts a variety of races and events throughout the year.
Whether you are running or cheering on your family and friends, head to this year’s Flying Pig Marathon with events taking place May 5 – 7 – you won’t want to miss it.
