“Santa! Oh my god! Santa’s coming! I know him! I know him!” A trip to the historic Taft Theatre building to watch The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati present “ELF THE MUSICAL JR.,” is bound to put you in the Christmas spirit.

Buddy’s enthusiasm for Santa and Christmas is contagious. Having watched “Elf” the movie with my kids multiple times, my daughter loved making connections between the story she knows so well and the show. We enjoyed seeing some of the changes to make it more kid friendly, too! We are in agreement that TCT nailed the acting, singing and costumes. As usual, The Children’s Theatre had an amazing set;mMy daughter immediately pointed out that the Christmas scene was an advent calendar! She loved watching the elves open each door to countdown to Christmas. We all noticed that the remaining sets all made it look like Buddy was in a snow globe – it was a magical holiday treat that left us all singing loud for all to hear!

Stay on the nice list and purchase your tickets today at thechildrenstheatre.com/shows/elf. The show is ideal for ages 4 and older; remaining showtimes include: December 10 at 7 p.m., December 11 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and December 12 at 2 p.m. All tickets remain refundable during the pandemic if you are unable to attend due to COVID-19.

Note: TCT wants to create the safest experience possible for everyone, therefore they are requiring masks for all patrons ages 2 and older, regardless of vaccination status. All patrons ages 12 and older must also provide original or photograph of vaccine card or test result.
