My son painted a colorful bath bomb in Buff City Soap’s Cincinnati store and added the “Fruity Loopy” scent to it. During bath time, he loved watching it fizz away in the bathtub. He smelled so good after his bath! You can head to your local store and let the kids paint their own bath bomb and choose a scent at no cost while you shop for products. Perfect for a rainy day … or, any day!
I was able to walk around and check out all of the products Buff City Soap has to offer. I learned that a customer-favorite scent is “Narcissist” – in fact, there is an entire section dedicated to this scent. The products are plant-based, made in-store and most products are customizable. You can even bring in your favorite scent and the employees can recreate it! For those who have sensitivities to scents, there are unscented options as well. Buff City Soap also has a men’s line and a kid’s line. Got a fur-baby? They’re covered, too. The “Pup Soap” will have your dog fresh and clean! The employees have great recommendations for all skin types and skin conditions. There is a wide variety of products that are so versatile – soap bars, lotion bars, body butters, body scrubs, shower fizzies, bath truffles, foaming hand soap, beard oil and more!
Let’s talk about the laundry soap and dryer balls. I was immediately sold when I found out that the laundry soap is 3-in-1. It “cleans, softens and smells wonderful.” No more fabric softener or scent boosters! Worried about plastic waste? No worries! Bring in the empty laundry soap container to be refilled (scents can be customized) and receive a discount! The dryer balls are not only for the dryer, but can also be placed anywhere you would like. I got one for my dryer, one for my car and one for my house. Everything smells wonderful! A bonus? You can bring the dryer balls back to be re-scented. I have also tried the soap bar Island Nectar, body butter and sugar scrub Narcissist. I love all of it! I have the soap sleeve and soap dish which are must-have accessories.
Buff City Soap hosts parties, too – birthdays, bachelorette, girls’ night out or guys’ night out. You and the kids can make your own soap bars or bath bombs from start to finish! (Note: Make sure you call to make reservations.) Gift baskets are also customizable and great for all occasions!
The employees were so helpful and such a joy to be around. Kendal, the store manager, was very knowledgeable about the products and had great suggestions. I cannot wait to come back and visit the staff and continue to grow my collection of products! (Psssttt…don’t forget to check out the soap bars that the employees create on their own!)
