M25M Provides PPE Kits to Students and Teachers

Last month, Matthew 25 Ministries helped provide 6,200 PPE Kits to local students and teachers. The Back to School Giveaway featured baggies filled with hand sanitizer, masks, crayons and other goodies. Baggies were retrieved at Matthew 25 Ministries (11060 Kenwood Road, Cincinnati) through a drive-thru pickup; items were placed in driver’s trunks by masked volunteers, starting learners and educators school year safely.

Stett 4 Kids Kicks of Back-to-School Drive

Non-profit, Stett 4 Kids is helping families in-need during this unprecedented school year. This drive comes on the heels of their last fundraiser which provided hundreds of computers to Cincinnati Public School students who lacked the proper technology to learn from home due to the stay-at-home order.

Recognizing there is a huge need for kids who are not able to afford field trips, back to school supplies and more, they recently kicked off their Back-to-School drive and are collecting donations on their website so kids can get what they need this year.

“[Our whole focus is] Trying to help these kids understand that we do care and we will help them with their supplies so that they can feel confident, and they want to go to school, they want to compete [in science fairs] and hopefully they can find their way to a better life,” says Lynn Anstett, founder of Stett 4 Kids.

Families in-need can go online and fill out a form and Stett 4 Kids will make sure they get what they need. Anstett will actually get involved by physically going shopping, now with social distancing in mind, with the kids and help them pick out their clothes and supplies.

They also help families during Christmas time by distributing out gifts to those in need.

“Some kids come in with a greater need,” says Anstett. “I know how much it helps them [kids] just to feel good,” says Anstett.

Stett 4 Kids is currently in-need of monthly donations and corporate sponsors. To make an individual $20, $40, $50 or any donation; or find out more information about becoming a corporate sponsor, visit stett4kids.com/donate.
