We love our zoo (and miss it like everyone else). We love going on walks. And I love running and having the luxury of bringing my kiddos along for the ride. I needed a jogging stroller that was easy to maneuver, quick to store and lightweight. The Jeep by Delta Children Sport Utility All-Terrain Jogger was the winner.
I have to admit, I’m a bit rough with my things – my friends and family laugh at me because I am the only one on the planet who can wear out the tread on my stroller tires. When the outdoors is the number one reliable outlet I have, you better believe I’m going to take advantage of those nice days with my family.
Our first outing with the Jeep by Delta Children Sport Utility All-Terrain Jogger was early before the pandemic hit – so we had that one last run around at the zoo before it closed in March. I wanted to take a leisurely stroll around the Cincinnati Zoo with my toddler and 8 year old before I really took it for a spin. Once I figured out how to work it, it was so easy to pop the seat right in the lightweight frame and take off. The adjustable seat can recline pretty far back with its reclining seat and five-point safety harness; and it has super soft shoulder pads for your little one. Have them lay comfortably in a sleeping position, or up to their liking so they can enjoy the ride. The large pop out SPF 50 sun visor canopy completely covered my tot so she was protected from the sun, and we had no problem fitting into tiny spaces around the zoo to see our favorite animals! The bumpy bridges and cobblestone walkways had nothing on us!
The next test was the run. It went smooth, and no turn stood in my way. Easy breezy, plus, it makes for a smooth ride for your little one. If you’re lucky, they will take a nap while you cruise and relieve some quarantine stress! There is an added bonus to this nifty jogger – it comes with a handy bag that wraps around the front for any extra snacks, water, phones, wipes, etc., to lug along with you – it’s very stylish, too! And, I am a multi-tasker all the way (not that I’m good at it, but multi-tasking is in my nature along with some other mamas out there) and this is a 3-1 stroller — holds your car seat on the frame with included adapter; van be a carriage-style infant stroller that faces you; or reverse and change into an upright toddler stroller with adjustable recline and footrest (my gal is 4 and getting a bit big for this, but glad we were able to make some use while we can!)
These times call for exercise, enjoying the outdoors, spending time with your littles and trying something new. If you feel guilty for working out and spending time away from your baby or toddler, getting a jogging stroller will be worth the purchase. (This Chicco jogging stroller made our top five, too!)
