Puffy Paint

When I used to teach preschool, I loved making puffy paint with them. They loved to stir it, touch it and paint with it. It is really easy to make and kids can paint using their imaginations or you can print off coloring sheets or templates for them to use while they paint. No paint brushes? No problem! They can use their fingers or Q-tips!  Check out the recipe here: parentingchaos.com/shaving-cream-puffy-paint

Create Geometrical Shapes

If your Facebook feed isn’t full of geometric chalk drawings yet, it is bound to be with this fun activity! Use painters tape, masking tape or electrical tape to create geometric shapes on your driveway. Then have your kids color in the shapes – with the fun rule: two shapes that share a line cannot be the same color. That will get them thinking and keep them busy for a while!

Tissue Paper Suncatchers!

This has been a family fav for years! You can draw a design on the non-tacky side of the contact paper or let your kids imagination run wild! Tape it to a window or door with the tacky side out and your kids place the tissue paper on the contact paper.
