The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati recently announced that they will be cancelling all performances of the final MainStage production of TCT’s 100th Anniversary, “Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical Jr.,” in response to COVID-19. This performance was meant to hit the stage April 25 – May 4.

The good news is, “Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical Jr.” will now become part of TCT’s 20-21 season! It will land in the “Princess & the Frog” slot April 17 – April 26, 2021. Don’t worry “Princess & Frog” fans – this delightful production will then hop on over to a future season.

“You can count on TCT to continue to engage our patrons during this difficult time,” says TCT Producing Artistic Director, Roderick Justice. “Our creative staff is working hard to provide entertaining, educational and engaging
digital content until we are back to 100 percent. Continue to follow TCT on social media as we release archival production footage, photos of past productions, podcasts, and more!”
