The Taft Museum of Art has wonderful monthly programming for children. Taft Jr. introduces youngsters to art through hands on crafts and 3rd Sunday Funday provides the public with plenty of cultural experiences like musical and theatrical performances, craft making and sometimes even animal encounters! Each month has a different theme, the next one is Wild West is March 15 from 1 – 4 p.m.

Put on a warm winter coat and make your way from building to building!  Waddle like a penguin from the bird house over to the Insect house and crawl on up to Night Hunters. There are plenty of places to explore all while staying warm while at the zoo.

There are tons of great parks in Hamilton County! If you are looking for somewhere to warm up, venture to the Adventure Station in Sharon Woods. This indoor playground has plenty of places to crawl, climb and slide. Also located in the visitor center, be sure to check out the animal ambassadors and nature programming!

Spring ahead to visions of colorful flowers in lush gardens with the Spring show, Bloom & Grow through March 8. This exhibition is playful, whimsical and perfect for kids! Then later next month (March 21), head back to Krohn for the 25th anniversary butterfly show, Butterflies of Bali.
