AN OLD KENTUCKY CHRISTMAS

Life goes by quickly during the holidays, why not slow down and enjoy your family as if it were the good old days? An Old Kentucky Christmas transports visitors to colonial Kentucky with delicious homemade cookies and candies, carolers singing joyfully and children making crafts, laughing and playing. CHRISTMAS ON MAIN

5 – 8 p.m.

City of Walton, Main St., Walton

Enjoy festively adored floats at the parade at 6 p.m., then stick around for even more fun on Main Street. Local business will have be serving treats, drinks and handing out goodies, Santa will be visiting and there will even be wagon rides available; be sure to head to the library to hear live Christmas music!

LONG NIGHT AGAINST PROCRASTINATION

The library will be open to teens who need to study for upcoming finals for school. Information Service staff will be available to help students when needed; there will be built in study breaks and snacks. For children ages 12 – 18.

LIGHT UP THE FAIR 2018

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. each night.

Boone County Fairgrounds, 5819 Idlewild Road, Burlington

Stay warm in your vehicle and create lasting memories with your family during this inaugural holiday event. Families are invited to view a 1-mile stretch of holiday light displays consisting of over half a million twinkling LED lights set to synchronized music.

Cost is $6 per person (0 – 4 people), $25 per car (5 – 8 people), $5 per person (9 + people), free for ages 3 and younger.
