Celebrate the holidays at Covington’s MainStrasse — check out unique shops, restaurants and plenty of entertainment and special events.
The Village Tree Lighting takes place on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 6 p.m. Light the tree on 6th and Main Streets, browse the shops for a special gift and gear up for the season. Then, pick up a fresh cut Christmas tree and wreath on Dec. 1 – 3 from Boy Scout Troop 717. Trees will be for sale from 5 – 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Sunday.
And get ready for the arrival of St. Nicholas on Wednesday, Dec. 6! He will arrive at the Goose Girl Fountain at 6 p.m. with a special treat for boys and girls. Celebrate a centuries old tradition with hot chocolate and cookies.
