Ahoy, mateys!  Gather your crew for a week of pirate-themed festivities at the Erlanger Branch Library (401, Kenton Lands Ave., Erlanger). 

On Sept. 18 from 7 – 8 p.m., everyone is invited to make versions of board games popular with pirates while enjoying a pirate snack!

On Sept. 19 from 7 – 8:30 p.m., teens will use Mango Languages to talk like a pirate.

On Sept. 20 from 6:30 – 9 p.m., the crew is invited to play Pirate BINGO for prizes!

Adults will learn about the Golden Age of Piracy, an extended period of time lasting from the 1650s to the 1730s, on Sept. 21 from 7 – 8 p.m.

On Sept. 22 from 6:30 – 9 p.m. everyone can enjoy some free popcorn while watching “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” on the big screen.

And on Sept. 23 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., grown-ups can stop by to test their skills at escaping the Pirate Captain’s ship before being forced to walk the plank (RSVP required).
