Do you dread 6 o’clock when everyone is hungry and you still have no clue what you are making for dinner or even if you have anything to prepare for dinner? Dream Dinners is a practical solution for busy families who value connecting over a healthy meal. Dream Dinners has four locations in Cincinnati and may be the solution you have been looking for to make dinner time less stressful.

I had the opportunity to learn about Dream Dinners and take home some excellent meals. For starters, it was easy to go online and select several options from the June menu and schedule a time to assemble my meals. There were lots of choices including Maple Bourbon BBQ Chicken with Bacon, and Mango Glazed Salmon. In addition to the main entrees, there was an option to purchase sides and sweets. My family enjoyed the Sweet Potato Fries and Hope’s Gourmet Cookies. I didn’t actually share the cookies — shhh!!!

Upon arriving, I was a bit nervous as I did not know what to expect. I was greeted by Jack who immediately welcomed me and explained how things worked. Everything was very organized and easy to follow. He told me to put on an apron and then handed me a clipboard with all of the recipes I had selected with perforated instruction cards to go with each meal. While driving there, I had been trying to remember what I had selected but that was not necessary! There also was a refrigerator space marked with my name on it so I didn’t have to worry about the meals defrosting or spoiling.

After Jack explained the set up and gave some background information on Dream Dinners we got started! He helped me assemble the first two meals by walking me through each step of instructions. The steps are broken down into easy tasks. You start by choosing the correct bag size to put your meal in and then you measure out the ingredients. Everything has been chopped and sliced in advance and your task is simply to put the correct amount into the bag! Although I can measure, it was nice that everything was color coded and my brain could rest a little bit.

You make a reservation in advance so that the staff knows the right amount of food to prepare as well to make sure the place does not get crowded. I noticed two women who came together and were in and out in about 40 minutes. Then there were two other customers who came by themselves and seemed to take their time. They were very friendly and by the end we were all laughing and talking.

I was very impressed with how friendly the staff was and how organized everything was at Dream Dinners. Dream Dinners is a fantastic way to have healthy meals for busy families. It also was very therapeutic to assemble the meals and connect with other people. Dream Dinners is a great option for individuals as well for a group of people.

Dream Dinners will host open houses at all four of the Cincinnati locations where you can learn more about how it works and take some great meals home all for the low price of $34.99 (three meals, three servings each).
