The Library is a great place to begin your child’s literacy adventure, and on Saturday, May 6, the Newport Branch of the Campbell County Public Library will kick off that adventure with an Early Literacy Fair!

Just head to 901 East Sixth Street in Newport between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for a day of family fun and reading, along with a special concert by Grammy-nominated, and local fave, Zak Morgan at 12:30 p.m.!

Kids can also meet Paddington Bear and Cam the Library Lion, make crafts with Cincinnati Art Museum, visit with the Cincinnati Circus for tattoos and balloons, pet the animals from Honey Hill Farm Petting Zoo, and more.  The Kentucky Lions Club will offer visions screenings, while Ages & Stages will offer developmental screenings for ages 3 months – 5 years, and parents can gather early childhood resources.

The fair is free to attend, head to cc-pl.org for more!
