Explore your world this summer with the Boone County Public Library’s Summer Reading program, which kicks off next month.  Sign up for reading programs for babies through adults to earn awesome prizes like books, restaurant coupons, fossil kits and more.  Be sure to stop by the Scheben Branch (8899 US 42, Union) starting Saturday, May 14, to check out the traveling exhibit Discover Earth: Our Changing Planet.  Composed of 13 interactive stations, the exhibit makes science fun for all ages with activities on topics like the weather, the water cycle, and how changes in the local ecosystem impact the environment around the world.  The exhibit remains on display through Wednesday, Aug. 31, and is part of the STAR Library Education Network, led by the National Center for the Interactive Learning at the Space Science Institute.  Learn more at bcpl.org.
