Beech Acres Parenting Center will host its annual Shop & Share shopping night at Target at 8680 Beechmont Avenue, December 8 from 3 to 7:30 p.m. The event allows area parents and children to buy holiday gifts for Cincinnati families in need. Anyone is welcome to participate!

Students from the Forest Hills School District get the ball rolling by collecting money in their schools ahead of time. Total Quality Logistics (TQL) has also raised shopping money in advance, from among its employees. Shoppers can draw from this pool of funds or donate their own.

Target will provide discounts and special holiday treats for shoppers. It’s a fun evening and a great way for parents to model philanthropic giving for their children.

Beech Acres, which serves families throughout Greater Cincinnati along with Butler and Warren counties, will distribute the gifts to its clients. Last year, 300 shoppers participated in Shop & Share, contributing more than $14,000 in gifts!

Anyone wishing to participate in Shop & Share can simply arrive at Target during the designated hours. If you cannot participate that evening but would still like to contribute, please call Katie Helmes at 513.233.4715 or visit beechacres.org.
