It’s not a crate filled with fruit, it’s a cute little box filled with so much more! Kiwi Crate offers parents the chance to subscribe their child to a monthly kit that delivers all sorts of creative hands-on activities.
Instead of getting magazines in the mail, why not something fun? Your child will be excited to receive a box each month with a new set of activities to do that focus on arts, crafts, science and imaginative play.
If you don’t want to go for a monthly subscription, you can purchase individual crates, which are not included in the subscriptions, including three limited-edition holiday crates: Crafty Christmas, Handmade Hanukkah and Gifts Made by Me.
We had the chance to test out the Gifts Made by Me crate (pictured above) and it was a hit! This kit is called a primer on printmaking as it has all that you would need to do a simple printmaking craft. There are three activities in this kit and each include all that you would need to complete them:
1) Make Prints – Shows you how to do a simple printmaking process to create your own note cards.
2) Create Presents – comes with a journal and shows you how to turn your printmaking note cards into a cover for a it.
3) Wrap Gifts – instructions on how to decorate ribbon to wrap around your wrapped present.
Here’s what I made with it:
Subscriptions: $19.95/month (free shipping), siblings add-on $7.95/month
Gift Subscriptions: Pick from a 3-, 6- or 12-month option
Gift Cards are available, too.
