Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati is bringing back one of their first commissioned musicals, Around the World in 80 Days, and thanks to their Fairy Godmother Program which began in 1990, even more children will have a chance to enjoy the show. The program brings approximately 1,500 students from Over-the-Rhine and other underserved areas to see the holiday show at little to no charge — along with the performance, students enjoy transportation, a snack at intermission, a meet-and-greet with the cast, and materials to take home that further enhance the play’s message.
